Here you can witness the combination of four games from the "Ancient Wars: Sparta" series. That makes 5 games in total. "Burut CT" has also made some models for the other games made by World-Forge. Post tutorial Report RSS Performance Boost

An instruction how to boost the Mods performance. Your game should run smooth with this! Also works on the unmodded games! Could also work on many other games!

!This tutorial is for all the people that got problems with FPS in this MOD!

I found out, that in game I had 15-30 FPS while playing! And now see my specs:

CPU: Intel-Core I7-6700 (4x3,4 GHz)

GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 (3,5GB RAM)

RAM: 16 GB DDR 4 (2x8 GB Stick)

So this game should run with at least 60 FPS all the time.

Now the problem is that this old games can't handle multicore CPU's. So start the game, no matter where you are in game, just press:

CTRL (STRG) + ALT + DEL (ENTF)

Then "open" the "TaskManager" if it doesnt do it automatically. Now go to "Processes" then "rightclick" the "AWE.exe" now search for something called "set affinity" should be above characteristics. In German it's "Zugehörigkeit festlegen". Now "leftclick" on it and "check" the "first Box" which says "use all cores" or something similiar. Just hit "ok" and you can "close" the "TaskManager" and "go back in game". You will probably see a big FPS boost while playing!

Some of you will "still encounter lags", I can only give the advice to "play around with the graphics" then. For me it helped a lot to "set Particles" on the "lowest setting". This improved my FPS realy much when scrolling over a place where I built many towers and walls.

More we can't say right now. It seems it also helps to play on a lower resolution then FULL HD (1920x1080).

I hope this helped some of you! I felt realy happy knowing this, cause the game is now "playable" for me :)

Have Fun!
