Wielder Model

This entry contains 2 mods; Weilder's Trait, and Weilder's Model.
This mod adds a new trait to your characters on startup. Selecting it will give your character the following trait:
"You are a former Wielder from Paris; a secretive wizard with expertise in the magical arts. You gain the following bonuses; all magic costs 30% less mana to cast. You have 250 more mana, and and your mana regeneration is 150% faster. Finally, your spells do 20% more damage. Your scholarly ways impair your other abilities. You cannot fight using any melee discipline, and learn from combat 50% slower."
Installation Instructions:
Extract the Lionheart_Weilders_Trait_v1.2 zip file. Then select the "*.trait" file you want to use (Weilders_Sylvant.Trait, or Weilders_Demokin.Trait), and copy that file into the traits folder for that race (see example).
For example:
"Lionheart Legacy of the Crusader\data\Resources\Traits\Racial\Demokin\"
or
"Lionheart Legacy of the Crusader\data\Resources\Traits\Racial\Sylvant\".
Sample Full Path to Directory:
- "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Lionheart Legacy of the Crusader\data\Resources\Traits\Racial\Demokin"
- "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Lionheart Legacy of the Crusader\data\Resources\Traits\Racial\Sylvant"
If you are running a modern version of the game, the data folder may be missing, and you will have a data.dat file instead. Extract the data.dat folder (unzip it) to your local lionheart directory, and delete the data.dat file. Lionheart will now use the folders you just extracted instead of the data.dat file. You can now place the weilder trait file in "Lionheart Legacy of the Crusader\data\Resources\Traits\Racial\Demokin", or "Lionheart Legacy of the Crusader\data\Resources\Traits\Racial\Sylvant".
What this mod contains:
-----------------------
Summary:
- You will look like the different kinds of wielders, depending on what armor you wear (black, green, blue).
- Weilder Archmage model: This model comes with a custom set of animations. The model is not designed for melee combat, so it will look weird if you use melee.
How to install:
---------------
- Extract.
- Copy Data Folder into your Lionheart Installation Directory.
- Verify Data.bat is extracted, and if there is a Data.bat file left delete it or the models wont work.
Sample full path:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Lionheart Legacy of the Crusader\data\Resources\Models3D\Player Characters\Male"

Dammit here i go reinstalling this game again (i had a recent playthrough last year when the whole country was under lockdown lol)
Haha, its a fun game for sure. I just patched both of these mods with newer versions, because I realized there were a bunch of bugs in the older ones. I originally uploaded them because I wanted to play a Weilder and I thought, "maybe other people will too". However they were kind of my first try, and so they had a few problems.
I put some new versions up just now that add the following:
- Weilders Trait: Fixed the electrical damage bonus not applying
- Weilders Model: I added a proper readme, and also added the generic weilder model as an option to play with (that model has the same animations as the base character, so it should be less wonky when you try to fight in melee or wear armor).
