Actually lorewise any race could be demon hunters as long as they go through the gruesome training and a special ritual which turns them half-demon. The reason that we only have elven demon hunters is that the arts of the demon hunter were only taught to a handful of elven warriors within the Illidari.
So theoretically it is possible to have a tauren demon hunter.
