La Conquête de l'Excellence is a completely transformed and fully translated (french) version of the strategic conquest game Warlords III. Its anticipatory scenario presents a retrograde (fantasy) world where the profitability of universities have become a real popularity argument, generating wars and global plebeian control. It depicts some slogans formerly used by Laval University in Québec, Canada as " La Conquête de l'Excellence " and "Aujourd'hui Québec, demain le monde".
Carrying the banner of Laval University and acting as "executive vice-president for development and international activities", the player engages him/herself in a revolutionary campaign in four episodes populated by bachelors-knights, lawyers-murderers, presidents, doctors, mayors, and all-powerful Rouge et Or footballers! His/her goal, CONQUERING THE WORLD!
La Conquête de l'Excellence est une version entièrement transformée et traduite du jeu de conquête stratégique Warlords IIITM. Elle met en scène certains slogans employés par l'Université Laval à Québec, Canada comme « La Conquête de l'Excellence » et « Aujourd'hui Québec, demain le monde ». Son scénario présente un futur rétrograde (médiéval fantastique) où la rentabilité économique des universités serait devenue l'argument de guerres de popularité et d'asservissements plébéiens.
Portant l'étendard de l'Université Laval et agissant à titre de « vice-recteur exécutif au développement et aux activités internationales », le joueur s'engage dans une campagne révolutionnaire en quatre épisodes peuplée de chevaliers-bacheliers, avocats-assassins, recteurs, docteurs, maires, et tout-puissants sportifs du Rouge et Or! Son but, CONQUÉRIR LE MONDE!
