Imagine if Victoria II and Total War were mixed in one great game...
¡Then you would have Victoria Total War!
Welcome to one of the most ambitious mods of Total War Napoleon . Based on the Victorian era , the mod will feature the following modes.
- Custom battles: Play battles with the different nations that strived for power in the mid to late 19th century , i assure you that the battle here are not like any other as they have a mix between Napoleonic strategy and modern carnage!
- Sea battles: Command wooden ships , steam ships and steel ships in naval battles that aren't like any other!
- Campaign: From 1850 to 1900 , this will not be like any other campaign! Depending on the faction , you will tacke different events and wars , starting with muskets in the Crimean war to machine guns in the Franco-Prussian war.
Updates will be posted as fast as i can , i am the only one developing the mod .

What is Victoria Total War?
As you may know , there have been quite a bit of victorian era mods for various total war games , but some of them were left incomplete or gone to another game...But this mod is not the case . What if we mix the campaign of victoria II with the riveting battles of Total War' ¡This mod!
Battles
In this mod battles have a mix between Napoleonic tactics and modern bloodshed . Just one unit can make the difference in a battle!
Cavalry
Altough cavalry will become less useful over time , ¡Never underestimate the power of a good old sable blow! Here the use of cavalry needs to be highly tactical , you can't just make them charge at random as , chances are , they will be obliterated by those pesky breechloading rifles!
Infantry
Infantry play a vital part here , as they have quicker and more accurate rifles and more morales , a single unit can take on cavalry regiments on its own!
Elite infantry can and will pose a major threat , as they can be a force to be reckoned when they face various infantry regiments
Infantry can also build trenches to defend themselves as sometimes the best attack is the defense.
Artillery
Artillery is the most vital part of an army , as you venture trough the victorian era , you wil see how artillery evolves and becomes key in winning battles . Fast loading and deadlier than any muzzle-loaded cannon! the breech-loading artillery will become a problem for many generals , also machineguns will make their historic debut!

Will you add other nations for custom battle like: Brazil, Paraguay, Republic of Mexico or 2nd Mexican empire?

Hey bro im doing exactly the same project, i have already uploaded the first campaing ( first carlist war) an im actually working in the second one ( first italian war of independence). My idea is also to make campainng from 1850 to 1880. The main difference is that we are using models from mount and blade warband. I think that we should join forces and do them together.
