Within the team, there has been talk of a fantastic concept that is not NEW to gaming, but is most certainly beneficial to both the developers and the fanbase.
We will be releasing the game episodically. This means that you all get the game sooner, and we get that time to work on the next episode at a more pleasant pace with ease while you play the first episode. The way in which we release it will be according to the 3 discs of the original- this way, it feels more like FFVII, there's that unbearable suspension between episodes, and it's simply convenient.
Not only are we going to be releasing it episodically, but the game will also have a multiplayer function. THIS will be released probably before the first episode of the game. We will release the alpha of the multiplayer pretty early on, that way you may all play it and give us your feedback. The multiplayer is still conceptual and we're still developing the structure of the overall function, but it should be quite an adventure.
Also, we'll be adding hidden content in the game. Obviously, with it being hidden, I can't give you full details. But it will be more than simple outfits or lore... so be sure, when you play the game, to explore to your content and find all of the little easter-eggs and treasures we hide within the vast world of VII: Fair's Legacy.

Awe it is it unbearable suspension between episodes!! I want to play now!
same here tho I like the 3 episodes idea it would really feel like the original that way :) The multiplayer function sounds like it could be fun too.
Thank you. We thought it puts a nice little spin on the game, and also the multiplayer has some pretty great potential. The ideas we've all come up with so far are pretty awesome.
Can hardly wait to play it :) Or if possible beta test it :P
Well we're glad to hear it. As for the beta test, we were thinking the multiplayer could serve as that, since we'll be releasing that sooner than the first episode (hopefully). Also, in case I hadn't mentioned this before, we'll most likely be releasing the first mission as a public demo. That is still a ways away, but it's something, right?
