Uplink OS is a total graphical modification to 2001's indie cult hit Uplink: Trust is a Weakness by Introversion Software. It aims to bring a fresh look to the game's cyberpunk visuals and a much needed upgrade to its interface and usability.

You can use WINE. It runs very well, I test it with WINE 3,2 and 2,19 Stagging (Windows XP, 32 bit prefix ). On 3,2 game falls, on 2,19 stagging everything runs well (maybe I did it differently) I use Debian Buster (macOS tweaked) and PlayOnLinux

Debian 9, x86_64 Uplink version 1.55 (downloaded from GoG). UplinkOS version: v104 GOLD for GoG. INSTALLATION: Use wine 3.0 or wine 3.0.2 (32 bit prefix, Windows XP). Firstly install normal Uplink then try to run it and check if the installation is OK. After that unzip the UplinkOS zip and move the contained files (data, music, uplinkHD, UplinkOS.exe) to Uplink installation directory. Finally, rename UplinkOS.exe to uplink.exe and delete the original file. |
