First of all I must say I really love this mod! I've recently installed Uplink out of sheer sentiment and when I had enough of it I've looked for some mods and came here. It plays and looks great, giving this old but good game a fresh feeling. But something is different. Normally when I try to rob a bank I just connect through InterNIC to the bank, send the money to my account, remove account statement, remove logs from InterNIC, log to my account to remove statements also, and remove the logs on InterNIC again. When I do this without the mod it works well, I've fast forwarded like a month or so to be sure if I won't get caught. But when trying to do the same with the modded game i get my black screen of death almost instantly after speeding up the game to check if it worked. Was it changed in the modded version so its harder to get a lot of game-breaking money? Or is it possible but I'm missing something obvious?

Hmmm that's interesting. I didn't modify anything related to the speed of the passive trace... I've also seen people successfully rob banks before...

I'll check it out tonight and see if there's anything amiss. Thanks for letting me know and for trying out the mod!

I just tested it twice. Once I was caught (it was because of the first bank I hacked, not the actual robbery) and once I was not...

When you try to run the caught Agent, on the Obituary screen, what is the motive of your arrest?
