For translation UplinkOS Thread - Uplink OS mod for Uplink - Trust is a Weakness

I really like your upgrade UplinkOS, thanks so much for making it.
I waited for your work to begin translating into Russian. Now I see that you made the Gold version and probably will not continue. It is unfortunate that there is no possibility to translate XML files as IntroScreens, but I understand that such an implementation probably takes a lot of time and probably does not make sense.

Now I'm doing the translation of the EXE file in HEX mode and working with hard-coded text strings. Now I'm finishing the translation of vanilla Uplink by this method. I see that you use UTF encoding, this is a good programming approach but it creates huge inconvenience when translating for me. Latin characters in UTF are 1 byte, and Cyrillic characters are 2 bytes, so I have to make all the texts 2 times shorter. Such a translation will be bad with a lot of abbreviations.

I will be very grateful if you can make a special EXE file for me in the Windows-1251 encoding. It should be pretty simple.
Even better, if you could send the source code of the project for the best translation. I guarantee that I will not upload the source code to the public.
