Delete Previous Password Thread - Uplink OS mod for Uplink - Trust is a Weakness

After hacking into a system and returning to it, you get the cool feature of being able to click and enter a password you have already used which is a great help.

However, in some particular circumstances, these can be risky, to the point of 1 misclick leaving you to lose the game. The example I want to give (spoilers for new players) is after hacking into Uplink Internal services and acquiring the Agent List and then re-entering the server. If you click the wrong password then you get traced and game over.

I suggest adding the ability to delete these passwords so such a situation doesn't occur.

Hm. Never thought of this, but yeah, sure.

It's a good idea but I think the situation really boils down to "pay attention to what you're doing".

Though it really is a harsh punishment for such a small mistake.

Still, it wasn't that hard to add. As of v101 you can right-click them to remove
