Any chance of restoring LAN TCP/IP multiplayer mode support in a future Mod of some kind for AvP Classic 2000, or will that be very difficult to accomplish?

I think it would be very hard only because a new up-to-date source code had never been released for AvP Classic 2000, and neither had a new up-to-date SDK been released.

As most of everyone who had bought AvP Classic 200 had realized that Rebellion didn't bother to restore the TCP/IP LAN Multiplayer Support for AvP Classic 2000, meaning the multiplayer is Limited to Online only.

And the updates to the source code to create AvP Classic 2000 had been originally made by someone else known as sirlemonhead, as he's creator of the Unofficial Update Patch for AvP Gold and the original AvP.

sirlemonhead is the real person who did all the DirectX 9 updates and Rebellion used his patch, modified it and didn't even bother to give him any credit whatsoever, and worse of, Rebellion just didn't seem to give a rats ass to even bother to make any additional effort to try and restore any of the LAN multiplayer modes, in particular to TCP/IP.

In the meantime, I'll have to stick with dgvoodoo 2.5 and run the original AvP.exe from 1999 and Gold Edition for Local LAN play, since that's like the only known workaround for this as of now. Would really prefer to be able to use TCP/IP mode with AvP Classic Redux Mod and your uMod somehow in the future. Maybe I'll check with sirlemonhead and see if he has any plans or ideas to restore TCP/IP multiplayer mode.
