UAC Dayz is a mod of the Arma 2 OA engine based on DayZ mod 1.7.6.1, Namalsk Crisis 0.741 mod, and many other community contributions to Dayz mod. Being a fan of vanilla Dayz mod, I decided to develop my own version that I wanted to play. UAC DayZ is meant to be a fun and polished remix of the Vanilla Dayz mod leveraging community contributions as well as my own contributions. Of course there are Hi Score tables as well. It is also an ode to the old school Dayz Mod. So if you haven't played anything DayZ related before, or want to go back to the 'old days' and versions that made DayZ popular, this mod is for you. With the inclusion of Crosire's Dayz Control Center package for DayZ 1.7.6.1, you can play by yourself on a single computer, on a LAN with friends, or have it run as an internet server for many players. UAC Dayz can be played just like vanilla Dayz, but UAC Dayz has an available 'End Game' with many missions, and much more, and is focused on PvE as well as PvP.

UAC DayZ Mod Beta has been updated to version 1.4. Among the improvements, is the option to have The End mission be on continuously, rather than in a loop with the other missions. This release/patch makes the 'End Game' mission more challenging to complete and more exciting, as well as removing some extraneous intro text. Patch 1 is included, and that fixes a critical bug.

UAC DayZ is a mod of DayZ mod that also focuses on single player/local play, along with multiplayer. You can easily run your own DayZ server to play local/single player. It adds it's own backstory with missions to complete, and an End/Final mission that can allow players to save the world.

This is for people who want to run their own servers locally, on a LAN, or on the internet.

UAC DayZ is more about PvE, and supports single player as well as multiplayer. It is built on Dayz Mod 1.7.6.1 and adds a lot more, focused on old-school survival sandbox though, combined with missions to have an optional 'End Game'. When you say OA2 engine is it standalone or does it require arma to play it?

Hey, you need OA2 engine, just like DayZ Mod.
