A mod for Tomb Raider II Remastered that replaces most enemies with flamethrower guys. If it doesn't swim or fly, it's a flamethrower guy!
This is a mod I made about 5+ years ago for the original Tomb Raider II engine. It simply replaces all ground-based enemies with flamethrower guys. If it doesn't swim or fly, it's a flamethrower guy! Some other enemies are excluded because they'll break the game and the final Home Sweet Home level is left untouched because it also caused problems.
Although this may sound impossibly hard, it is able to be completed without glitches. Three streamers have done so, Google Footi, Eyecore_ and Pillowgeist. All three are great TR streamers.
Installation; This is for the Steam version of the game, but it should also work for all PC versions, however, the game file location will vary. Simply rename the DATA folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tomb Raider I-III Remastered\2 to anything you desire BUT DON'T DELETE IT! As long as it's no longer named DATA it's fine. Then paste or unzip the DATA folder from the TR2 All Flamethrower Guy Mod.zip file into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tomb Raider I-III Remastered\2.That's it. Now just run the game as normal, select TR2 and click on New Game.
Notes; This mod DOES NOT work on Golden Mask. The only modified files are the .TR2 files in the DATA folder, nothing else. No executable files are modified.
To Uninstall; Simply delete the modified DATA folder and rename the original DATA folder back to 'DATA'. If things go wrong, uninstall the game via your game launcher and reinstall it.
