Turning the ancient world into the Tolkien books of Middle Earth. The mod will feature completely new campaign (if CA releases map editing tools), overhauled diplomacy, army movement re-balancing, new research trees, all new units, heroes, new factions, news events of around the Middle Earth world and much more!

The two questions posted in the comments on the deleted image,

"Will you change the unit cards"
Yes eventually, the ones here are just the selection of the unit card, but they are subjected to change. It was more of a test and to see what could be done. For example you can slightly see the tree in the unit card selection.

"what will be Gondor bodyguards be like" (can't remember the exact words of the question)

We are still deciding the roster of Gondor and we want the team to be satisfied by it before we release any information regarding it.

Its something we are looking into, being related to a custom campaign map, which since has been acheived on Shogun 2 total war, we are trying to transfer the method on Rome 2.

If you mean the same scale as TATW then I can say no.

If however CA released some form of battlefield editor like for Shogun 2, then I can say yes for custom battle type scenarios.

Description

I removed the other In-game UI as it was an older version.

The one you see here is the latest but by all means not the final finish. The differences here that you'll see is the background of the unit cards when selected vs not selected and the middle UI bar changed.
