And before you ask silly questions about Area 51's location, this isn't the outpost in Nevada. This is a generic military outpost, with Area 51 underneath it. Accessible via the storage hangar, in case you hadn't figured it out.
And this mod is NOT based around Area 51, that is just the opening section.

Meh. What do you expect me to write about? I've already given you the plot, so being as all screenshots will obviously follow that plot, re-writing it everytime I release media just to pass it as news will get tiring.
Lol, for some reason this news post seems pretty defensive as a whole.
can you shot us a vid of the gameplay? How's the optimization of that big area coming along?
The only optimisation going on here is no-draw on all faces not seen by the player. And there isn't any gameplay due to the lack of someone to do the scripted sequences - I'm only fairly good at level design.
From the start of the outside bit to the inside of the hangar is in a truck (the player never gets to walk outside at this bit). What happens from there isn't really planned yet - I have lots of prototype maps as to how the player gets to the labs, but nothing I'm 100% certain on.
All those area/skip texture optimisation things stump me, so it'll just have to stay non-optimized for now.
