The sky turned darkgreen, and the world is covered with green lightning. That is the result of tiberium mutation. 90% of the planet is covered with tiberium crystals. Population is critical, yellow zones are unpopulated. no one can live there. So the final war has begon. a war between man and the world. Even though it might be the final war, it is not the end. because every end -- --has a birth. Tiberium wars - Birth is set between the end of kanes wrath and the beginning of C&C4. This mod will introduce complete new enemy's. and it will have single player and multiplayer

i don't know if i'm just stupid, but what exactly is a source code for? like does it update Kane's Revenge or somethin? and is there a certain place i'm supposed to extract it to?

it doesnt update kanes revenge. infact you can change it any way you want. everyone may modifie the weapons and all content of the code or make a new code based on the ones of kanes revenge.
so you can make a new mod with this , based on this or anything else.
also every possible weapon combination is inside this mod. so it helps people to make their own weapons or units because they can look or take the code within this package.

kanes revenge 1.0/1.5 and 2.0 are 2 different codes.
1.0/1.5 is the most stable and more easyer to modify. so yes it will change.

i recommand to make a new folder for ths one.

the source code however, helps people to make mods for tiberium wars.
with this code you can see every weapon combination possible for tiberium wars. (without new models)

extraction.
to make a new mod or you want to see this working make a new folder within mods or buildmods (in tiberium wars sdk) like > Buildmods/mods/mymod/data and extract the files in there.

to make it working include all files in the mod.xml and that is all.
the reason i skipped the mod.xml is because everyone uses different system paths.

well i have no idea how to make a mod ha. well i know you need a Mod SDK and i've got it but i don't have all the other media stuff that i need.

so r u saying that i can play the mod with the changes in the source code by creating a new folder? i'm still kinda confused. so like would i do something like this?:

C:\Documents and Settings\user\Command & Conquer Tiberium Wars\Mods\ and then just create a new mod folder and extract this source code into it?

i would really like to play this mod with the changes in it. this mod is pretty cool but i keep getting knocked off when i try to play 2.0. i don't know if its just certain units or graphics or what.

i see.
well this code makes it able to modify all things of kanes revenge. you will need the sdk. (download from www.commandandconquer.com)
and put this in a new folder >> buildmods/mods(your mod) and include all files in the mod.xml.

that is the only way to make this working. otherwise just download kanesrevenge 1.5 ( its the same as the code)
