@ QSMcGunn - you say you dont want to change the other lore of the game, the official lore you called it, .... where exactly is The tower mostly located? is it in the commonwealth in fallout 4 or someplace else? , the picture reminds me of Trinty Tower were the character Strong is found and Rex Goodman of WAKR radio sation is also found. Long Island is a Part of Newyork state but some of the countys are city and some are suburban and rural like Nassau county and suffolk county but Brooklyn kings county and and Queens of Queens county are the city part... the tower is probably in the city part so my guess is either Brooklyn county or queens county. ho do these mods on other maps besides the commonwealth do anyways? theres a bunch theres that cascadia and Maxwells world and so many other maps , iv only seen a couple of maps, i got prewar settlements mod and that expands the pre-war map from the main game but also i got a even older pre-war map of sancutary hills settlemnt about 20 years older from 2077 in the year 2057. it was nice they even added more roads and the roads were perfect not all broken up and fragmented code as they were in Dima's Mind. its not all destroyed and its a good road, i wanted to expand the red rocket, i went out and got that Red rocket reborn mod and the thing is i could not get red rocket reborn to work becasue it gave a new building type, but even if i got this mod to work there was no pre-war kinda red rocket to build there i wanted a big prebab, if there were 3 big prefab peices for the red rocket you build the main part of it, you place in every thing else even the red rocket gas / petrol price sign. that would have been great if they came out with a Pre-war red rocket snap and build they already came out with every thing else and yet my pre-war settlements mod will never get its pre-war red rocket built, i wanted to just build all the prefab peices... i can build pre-war diners, but the thing is i cant build pre-war red rocket gas stations, also i want a mod for the road pieces someones should show a video on how they build those locations in some of these maps like cascadia or The Tower, im trying to build stuff in my game on my institute character, wouldnt mind build the pre-war world for my minute men character either but how do these other maps go , are they like you need to start a new game or you and go there whenever or what? I can't disclose information about either of those. But I can say that the focus of this mod is to create a short side story that doesnt step on the toes of any of the official lore, but freely references it and fits within it. If something important to the lore were to appear, it would likely be because the lore dictates that it should be there. However I can say that the main opposition in this mod is an entirely new faction that is local to Long Island.
Looks interesting can't wait to see it developed.
