The Stanley Parable is an experimental narrative-driven first person game. It is an exploration of choice, freedom, storytelling and reality, all examined through the lens of what it means to play a video game. You will make a choice that does not matter You will follow a story that has no end You will play a game you cannot win ...it's actually best if you don't know anything about it before you play it :D

9/10 - Agree (1) Disagree

Narrative/Plot: EXCELLENT idea as far as story is concerned. Story was pretty cool at first, and then after the initial playthrough it completely transformed. Storrytelling was pretty cool aswell, and certainly quite original.

Level design/quality: Nothing special, and was horrible in a few places (after 'the trap' and outside areas), but overall it fits quite well.

Gameplay: Nonexistent. This was never made with gameplay in mind, which ain't a bad thing. Storytelling more than makes up for it to me, but if you're just wanting more gameplay then don't download it; you're not the target audience.

Voice acting: Was great. Better than 99% of mods I've played so far. 'nuff said.
