The Russian Front is a total conversion of RTCW, aiming to bring a highly realistic slant to the base game, covering the fighting on the Russian Front 1941-45. The mod will include both an MP game as well as a series of SP missions, reflecting the near-4-years spent in the Red Army by one Misha Novikov. This isn't rabid "special forces" - it is core infantry combat at its most gruelling - the terrifying slaughter that was the Russian Front from the opening of Operation Barbarossa in July 1941, through to the closing scenes in Berlin, almost 4 years later. The mod will, of course, feature the core weaponry used by the German and Soviet forces, plus introducing the other nationalities that fought on the Russian Front.

Now - in terms of piccies, I thought I'd throw in a little bit of movie magic from one of our animators... it is a small (700Kb) clip, showing a JagdPanther moving between rubbled buildings in the rain. It isn't intended to be "hyper-detailed", so don't give me grief on that... it was actually an idea
