The Rising Empire is a mod for Jedi Academy, that is based off a novel I started writing years ago, that was set in it's own universe. But most of it was based off of a small idea, and a character, I put in the Star Wars universe. This mod, is based off the Star Wars version of the story, and follows the story, of Jarron Siscer - a young man, living on Coruscant, ten years after the Clone Wars. You can read a rough backstory for The Rising Empire, here What I've done, for the game adaptation of the story, is divide the mod into three parts:(note that each Chapter will contain about 3-4 maps) Chapter 1: Is set entirely on Coruscant. First map, is mostly an introduction, and doesn't invlove much as far as gameplay - mostly walking around and talking to people. Second Map, is a chase through the streets, into the sewers, and to the outside of the Imperial Research Facility. Third Map, will be the infultration, of the interrior of the Facility. So, nothing too visual, on this mod, for atleast awhile. Maybe I'll have something in a few weeks, or even a month. Until then, just news...
