I downloaded it and extracted all the files just as you said but i get a crash after the initial Napoleon loading screen on game start up. How can I fix this, i am running no other mods.
Make sure you have the last and the official version of the game. It seems you didn't paste to the correct locations and also make sure that the file you downloaded is complete. Sometimes moddb cuts the download in the middle and RAR file becomes corrupted.

Is a faction unlock mod like NTF required. I have been using that to try to enable ottomans on campaign
No, it is not necessary. It automatically unlocks the Ottomans. Big probably that causes the crash. It should be a clean install of NTW.

is this the newest version?
Yes, it fixes some errors, some balance changes, some model corrections and surprise element in the campaign. It is not a save game compatible

Hocam selamlar. 1 haftadır mod ile oynuyorum. Mükemmel olmuş mod ellerinize sağlık. Ancak bir sorunum var. Ne zaman Heavy Cavalry olan orduyla savaşa girmeye çalışsam ya da geliştirilmiş askerlerle oyun takılıyor. Bu sorunu nasıl gideririz? İlk daha gelişmemiş bir Osmanlı askerlerinde bu sorun yok ama yeni askerlerin olduğu orduyla savaşa girmeye kalkınca bu sorunu yaşıyorum. Oyun kilitleniyor. Çözüm var mı? Teşekkürler.

Belirli bir askeri birimde takılıyorsa, hangi birim olduğunu yazarsan daha rahat cevaplayabilir ya da duruma bakabilirim. Eğer sadece bir savaşta yaptıysa, o savaşa has bir sıkıntı olabilir. Mesela Macarlarla bir savaşa girememiştim, oyunun kendi bir hatasından kaynaklanıyordu, yeni birimlerden değil.

i downloaded both files from here but i cant open them at all quote

ive tried editing the properties and still nothing. i physically can not open the mod file. ive never had this happen before
first of all, you don't need to download both files. the old one is archived. only last version is enough. If you can't open the rar file, erase it and download again. sometimes rar file is downloaded corrupted.
after 5 attempts i continue to get the same error message. im starting to doubt its Moddb at this point. as i have never had a corruption issue before this. could there be an issue with the file itself?
Nope, it can't be. Because people downloaded same .rar file, extracted and played the game. I have no idea why downloads are completed although it is not completed 100% at moddb. It sometimes happens to me. Try to download with different browser please.

Sorun tamamen moddb'ye bağlı. Cookies, vs. silerek tekrar indirirsen daha sağlıklı olur.

Dosyaları doğru yere koyduğundan emin ol lütfen. 3 farklı yerde dosya var.
dosyayı indiriyorum (3 kez indirdim) ancak şöyle bi hata veriyor ilgilenirseniz sevinirim

Dosya yanlış inmiş, önbelleğe aldığı yanlış dosyadan dolayı da açılmıyor. Başka bir tarayıcı ile indirirsen çalışacaktır.
Explorerdan da chrome dan da indirdim ama arsiv hasarli diyor
İndirdim test ettim. Bende hata vermedi. Direkt olarak moddb serverlarıyla ilgili bir problem ya da bir nebze de olsa Winrarla ilgilidir herhalde.

Oyunun doğru versiyonunu kullanmıyor olabilirsin. Son sürüm olması lazım.

ya hacı kurulumun nasıl yapıldığını özet geçermisin mp_eur_napoleon klasörüne atıyorum dosyaları yine olmuyor mod
Doğru klasörlere attığın vakit çalışmaması mümkün değil. mp_euro_napoleon klasörüne sadece -startpos.esf & scripting.lua dosyalarını atıyorsun. diğerleri data klasörü içine.
Bir de bu dosyayı: user.script.txt buraya C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Napoleon\scripts
