War isn't always about who gets shot first- its also about who dies from mother nature first. The coming update of the mod is bringing new environmental hazards such as Malaria, frostbite, trenchfoot and reworks for gas which'll leave the ground infertile for generations to come. You may be wondering- how in the hell do any of these hazards work for something like Mowas2? Well I'm here to give a small brief;
Malaria is contracted via mosquitoes and no, I did not add individual mosquitoes but rather made it so infantry passing through areas mosquitoes happily call home and contract Malaria itself from will cause your soldier to have some pains he wish he could remedy. Some soldiers thanks to the magic of anti malarials can build an immunity to the damage malaria has on them, but are not out of the park of its wrath.
Frostbite can occur if in winterized environments, and units that are moving causing them to waste precious heat they can use to stay warm if sitting down and waiting a while. If units freeze to death they simply drop unresponsive and you have no one else to blame but yourself.
Trenchfoot slightly damages infantry who walk in the muddy terrain for far too long- its pretty self explanatory how thats not a good thing. As for Gas residue its a secret you will all get to see in due time :D
As for mod progress things are coming along well and the mod will be released before December indefinetely so keep your pants pulled up high and march with us to the end of this long road of wars.
