There are different kinds of tournaments: Solo Tournaments, Team Tournaments, and Special Tournaments.
Solo Tournaments:
=> Tournaments that each player fights for himself.

Solo Tournament Explanations:
Aquilian Master:
The Aquilian Master Tournament is a duel tournament with the custom throwing weapon "Aquila". The weapon used in this tournament is only available for the tournament itself, not before, not after. This tournament will be run in "The Main Arena" map, and participants will have to follow the usual "Duel Tournament Rules". (Links to screenshots of the map, and the rules, will follow.)
Winning this tournament once will have no special rewards. Winning this tournament multiple times will unlock the ability to use throwing weapons (stones) generally. This tournament does not have any item rewards.
What this tournament is about, is that players have to duel using the "Aquila". It is a multiple-tier tournament. Who faces whom is decided by a random generator, and announced by the tournament master. Players are eliminated instantly on death in the first tier, in higher tiers it takes more than one death to be disqualified.
Archery Tournament:
The Archery Tournament is, as the name sais, a duel tournament with bows. The weapon used in this tournament will be either one of the default bows, or crossbows, offered by the default factions of M&B Warband. During the tournament, ranged weapons will obviously be enabled. This tournament will be run in "The Archery Arena" map, and the participants will have to follow the "Archery Tournament Rules". (Links to screenshots of the map, and the rules, will follow.)
Winning this tournament once will unlock a special tunic (Tunic With Green Cape) for the player who won, until the next time the tournament is held. Winning this tournament multiple times will unlock custom arrows. Winning this tournament often times will unlock custom bows. Arrows and bows will after unlocking them be generally available to the player. Once unlocking the first bow, the player will be able to use it generally, without any tournament going on.
What this tournament is about, is that players have to duel using bows or crossbows. It is a multiple-tier tournament. Who faces whom is decided by a random generator, and announced by the tournament master. Players are eliminated instantly on death in the first tier, in higher tiers it takes more than one death to be disqualified.
Cannibal King:
The Cannibal King Tournament is a duel tournament with the custom weapon "Cannibal Axe". The weapon used in this tournament will only be available for the tournament itself, and for the winner to use it until the next time the tournament is held. This tournament will be run in "The Cannibal King Pit" map, and the participants will have to follow the "Cannibal King Tournament Rules". (Links to screenshots of the map, and the rules, will follow.)
Winning this tournament once will unlock a custom weapon (Cannibal Axe) for the player who won, until the next time the tournament is held. Winning this tournament often times will unlock a special tunic (Rawhide Coat) as default gear after unlocking it.
What this tournament is about, is that players have to duel inside a pit. The winner stais in the pit, the player who loses goes back to the waiting area. The tournament master calls the names in a certain order, to make sure everyone gets the chance to fight as much as the others. For every win, the tournament master notes down one score. The three people with the highest score enter custom finals. The tournament master decides what weapons the players will have to use in the finals.
Last Man Standing:
The Last Man Standing Tournament is a duel tournament with player choice weapons. The weapons can be freely chosen by the participating players. This tournament will be run in "The Main Arena" map, and the participants will have to follow no rules. (Links to screenshots of the map will follow.)
Winning this tournament once will unlock a special tunic (Red Shirt) for the player who won, until the next time the tournament is held. This tournament does not have any permanent rewards.
What this tournament is about, is that players have to duel with weapons of their own choice. They are all put in the arena at the same time, and will receive a "START" call from the tournament master. After that they have to duel each other, until only one man is left standing. That man wins. Every player has to duel in order to be able to win.
Regular Duel Tournament:
The Regular Duel Tournament is a duel tournament with weapon types announced by the tournament master. The weapons can be freely chosen by the participating players as long as they are in the range allowed by the tournament (example: in 1h tournaments, only 1h weapons can be chosen). This tournament will be run in "The Main Arena" map, and the participants will have to follow the usual "Duel Tournament Rules". (Links to screenshots of the map, and the rules, will follow.)
Winning this tournament once will unlock a special tunic (Leather Vest) for the player who won, until the next time the tournament is held. Winning this tournament multiple times will unlock a special tunic (Leather Jerkin) as default gear after unlocking it. Winning this tournament often times will unlock a special tunic (Leather Armor) as default gear after unlocking it. Winning this tournament many times will unlock a special tunic (Light Leather) as default gear after unlocking it.
What this tournament is about, is that players have to duel with weapons within the range of the tournament master's choice. It is a multiple-tier tournament. Who faces whom is decided by a random generator, and announced by the tournament master. Players are eliminated instantly on death in the first tier, in higher tiers it takes more than one death to be disqualified.
Roman Tournament:
The Roman Tournament is a duel tournament with custom Roman weapons. There are multiple different roman weapons, and weapon types, the tournament master can choose from when holding this tournament. The players then get the weapons the tournament master defines. This tournament will be run in the "Roman Arena" map, and the participants will have to follow the usual "Duel Tournament Rules". (Links to the rules, will follow.)
Winning this tournament once will unlock a special tunic (Pelt Coat) for the player who won, until the next time the tournament is held. Winning this tournament often times will unlock a custom helm (Roman Helmet) as default gear after unlocking it. Winning this tournament many times will unlock, in addition to the helmet, a custom armor (Light Mail And Plate) as default gear after unlocking it.
What this tournament is about, is that the players have to duel with Roman weapons. It is a multiple-tier tournament. Who faces whom is decided by a random generator, and announced by the tournament master. Players are eliminated instantly on death in the first tier, in higher tiers it takes more than one death to be disqualified.

Team Tournament Explanations:
Team Duel Tournament:
The Team Duel Tournament is a duel tournament with polearms. This tournament will be run in "The Main Arena" map, and the participants will have to follow the usual "Duel Tournament Rules". (Links to screenshot of the map, and the rules, will follow.)
Winning this tournament once will unlock a special helm (Byzantion Helmet) for the players of the winning team, until the next time the tournament is held. Winning this tournament multiple times will unlock a special helm (Magyar Helmet) as default gear after unlocking it. Winning this tournament often times will unlock a special helm (Shahi) as default gear after unlocking it. Winning this tournament many times will unlock a special helm (Rus Helmet) as default gear after unlocking it.
What this tournament is about, is that players have to duel others just as in the Regular Duel Tournament. The difference here is, that the players, before starting the tournament, are put together in groups of 3, with many players groups of 5, and the entire group wins or loses together as a team. It is a multiple-tier tournament. Who faces whom is decided by a random generator, and announced by the tournament master. Teams are eliminated instantly on death in the first tier, in higher tiers it takes more than one death to be disqualified. The team choses who faces whom from the enemy team, Every team member duels one member of the other team. The team with more men standing after all the duels are carried out, wins the round.
Special Tournament Explanations:
Survive The Maze:
The Survive The Maze Tournament is a deathmatch tournament with the custom weapon "UNDEFINED" (<= the weapon isn't ready yet). The weapon "UNDEFINED" is only available during the tournament. This tournament will be run in "The Maze" map, and the participants will have to follow the "Maze Tournament Rules". (Links to screenshots of the map, and the rules, will follow.)
Winning this tournament once will unlock a special tunic (Pilgrim Disguise) for the player who won until the next time the tournament is held. Winning this tournament multiple times will unlock a special armor (Khergit Armor) as default gear after unlocking it. Winning this tournament often times will unlock a special armor (Nomad Armor) as default gear after unlocking it. Winning this tournament many times will unlock a special armor (Steppe Armor) as default gear after unlocking it.
What this tournament is about, is that players are being teleported to a random place within the maze. On a "START" signal of the tournament master, the players have to fight anyone in their sight, and/or survive as long as possible. The last man alive wins the tournament.
