What if GDI and Nod failed to defeat CABAL during the Firestorm Crisis? With both organizations destroyed by CABAL, nothing was stopping the rogue AI from conquering the world, replacing humanity with cybernetics. The Forgotten, out of the way for much of the Firestorm Crisis, now find themselves being hunted down, conflicted between fortifying their sanctuaries and actively waging a guerrilla war for their own survival. The years of unchecked Tiberium growth would also eventually attract the Scrin, expecting Earth to be devoid of hostile life. Their ignorance would only end up thrusting them into the war between CABAL and the Forgotten mutants, a dangerous situation due to their unpreparedness but their desire for the Tiberium Ichor drives them to destroy anything that stands in their way. A new Tiberium War is about to begin between CABAL, the Forgotten, and the Scrin. Conquest, survival, addiction. For whom will you fight for?

Description

* This unit is unique to the Wasteland Scavengers subfaction

One of the most important rediscoveries that the renowned Scavenger archaeologist The Safekeeper has made is EMP weaponry. GDI made heavy usage of such weapons during the Second Tiberian War in the form of artillery emplacements capable of immobilizing entire tank battalions in one shot. The weapon was later modified to be portable, just in time for the Firestorm Crisis. While still futile, it was a crucial advantage GDI and Nod needed against CABAL's cyborgs who are vulnerable to it. As such, EMP weapons are the Scavenger's trump card in their war against CABAL, compensating for their lack of heavy duty weapons. Skilled mechanics were able to cobble together a jury-rigged EMP Generator which has been modified to concentrate the pulse forwards instead of radially. While this means that it can only disable a single target for a very brief period of time, it can fire quickly and it does not need to recharge after every blast. The success of this ramshackle weapon was made even more effective by simply loading it onto a nimble SUV. The SUV, embed with the weird name Jeep Wrangler, was very mobile and could have a passenger ride shotgun but was lightly armored. Combined with the EMP Generator's immobilizing capabilities, it was more than capable of intercepting and pinning down heavy vehicles, cyborgs, and defensive structures while the passenger pelts away with his/her weapon. As such, all consecutive builds are referred to as Wranglers as both a reference to the original vehicle's name and their purpose of wrangling enemy machinery.
