You are a young traveler named Kurt Rogers. You're staying at the famous Prussian castle Die Heilige Burg. But something is not right, you are haunted by horrible nightmares. Someone here knows who you are, you will be tested. You'll have to do anything to flee from this cursed place as fast as possible.

Inspired by my first custom story. This custom story will be built more on a story and great atmosphere. I will try my best to make this custom story as good as possible.

Glitch *Updated*

Just want to warn people about a possible glitch that may appear near the middle of the mod. This glitch will force your character to look behind him until your done with that map. It's easy to avoid the glitch, when your character falls down and is about to faint do not move forward just wait for the loading screen.

There we go I have purged two glitches that has been reported to me. I still recommend that you save once in a while and follow the above suggestion. It's funny I play through the story like 10 times without any problem then once I upload it glitches instantly shows up xD well if you encounter any problems please report them to me and I will do my best to correct them!

Aeterni Tenebrae - The Darkness - 4/10

Poor and confusing story that feels like it should've ended way sooner, instead you dragged it on in ways that made no sense at all. Frustrating level design that at one point requires you to backtrack with no indication that you're supposed to in the first place, leading the player to wander aimlessly for a long time until they realize they can go back. The "Chase" sequence with the stone road is completely impossible without the use of Laudanum, meaning if the player doesn't have any, it cannot be completed without cheating. Did you even play test your mod before releasing it? Thomas has terrible voice acting, and was also embarrassingly easy to avoid, you literally put a closet right next to the room he breaks out of so you can instantly hide in it and invalidate him entirely, completely ruining the moment. The only thing that was done right was the oil. It felt like there was a perfect amount.

I'm done to play in this one. I'm quite enjoy because, it's pretty long. Probably, i took 1 and half hours to finish it. The story was pretty much good however but it need something different. But not worries, i'm scared a lot and i'm very enjoy from puzzles. Btw, i loved the modern prison. In general, this custom story was completely nice. 9/10 and it's awesome!

I loved this custom story. It has become one of my favorite stories. I think its underestimated, because evaluation in 6.9 too small for her. I have rated it at 9/10 (Only disappointed by the ending too abrupt, she's not bad, but sharp)

the part when you had to run (where there there the burning man on the cross) is damn impossible -.- because 1. it confuse you when you get hit, 2. makes you come back from the cross and 3. you can't never do the path again because you will die and so on. please dude remove that **** part (as i said is because is damn impossible to do it) if not replace all these random hits with a servant grunt or with just a stun effect and make load the next map. thanks

I don't see why I should remove it? It seems that the only reason people fail there is because they get confused on which way to run when they are hit. If you keep running the correct path you wont die as long as you have full health when you you're at the cross which you will gain if you die at your first attempt. I tested that path many times and it's not really that hard as long as you don't accidentally turn around when hit...

Hey, in part 2, which I will be posting soon, watch and, I get stuck at the part where the guy in the cell needs you to get the sledgehammer, I got it but, I couldn't do anything with it, and when I tried to get into the common rooms, it wouldn't let me in, help?
