Star Wars: Clones of War will add the vehicles and the soldiers of the Grand Army of the Republic and the Droid army of the Confederacy of Independant systems to Men of War.
It's the angle and the distortion caused by the 'digital lens' :) I use math to find the correct scale for all vehicles according to official sources, even that giant *** Techno union ship in the background!
So in this case, the battledroid (scaled to fit men of war's infantry skeleton) is 1,476m tall inside 3ds max. According to sources, the B1 is actually 1,91m tall (according to the 3d models ILM produced for the films). We then get:
1,476 / 1,91 = ~0,773
0,773 x 1,98 (the DSD-1's canonical height in m) = ~1,530
So I then make a box that has a height of 1,530m inside 3ds max and scale the DSD-1 until it fits the box's height as closely as possible.
what do you mean with one day ?
He's probably referring to when I'll be able to get them in game.
Real life: The largest obstacle in modding.
You're not alone. I'm trying my hand at exporting again, so far going okay.
So question, how will the droids work will they be like a Goliath remote control type unit or vehicles?
I'm not sure yet. Using the 'zero crew' code sometimes makes vehicles not respond to what's happening around them, which is really troubling.
Just use droid pilots.
I would try to make them act like Goliath
I don't think the Goliath reacts to enemies, which is why he was reluctant to use that particular coding.
cool
Nice! That spider walker is quite good looking! Also that Techno Union star ship is pretty awesome!
Thanks! :D
Nice
Those are some crazy good models.
Wondering though isn't the DSD1 a bit big or is the B1 too short. The B1 is only 5cm shorter than a DSD1.

Ah cool. Good to know your being as accurate as possible. ^_^
