Adjusted terrorist accuracy, stats and equipment, revised armor levels to achieve higher realism within the engine limits and gameplay limitations.
Upgraded version of the Malleus' AI Mod, used on Raven Shield 2.0. Changes some of the AI's behaviour, including (but not limited) to arrest of surrendered tangos and working Recon ROE.
Can you fix how they stack up on doors so that they are not in the fatal funnel?
Can be changed, but that would mean changing the whole map files and, at times, they become stuck on the scenery. Believe me, I tried that on the Refinery and on the Airport. Didn't worked.
I really appreciate your work, glad to see there are still ai mods being created.
Besides the compliment, i'm commenting here to say that the ROE rules as said in the description don't seem to work. From what I can read, Rainbow ai should no longer kill anymore surrendered terrorists, which I would like. Only problem, they still do this besides recon (I assume since I haven't tested the recon ROE yet).
Hmm... Weird. You changed the Ravenshield.mod file in the mod folder in your RavenShield installation? Also, you use RavenShield 2.0 or base ravenshield
I use raven Shield 2.0. I did change the .mod file, like with your other mods. Hell, the guys even crouch-run when in recon and in normal speed.
Do they shoot actually surrendered tangos or tangos in the process of dropping their guns? They will shoot tangos that are starting to surrender, it is a base game behavior
Yeah they shoot em as they start dropping their weapons. I get that, but i've seen a few times when they don't fire on terrorists, half-way into getting on their knees. Once I saw a terrorist surrender also half-way, but still get shot in this mod. It's not a big deal to me anyways.
At times they don't fire while they are surrendering because
A) they don't see the tango
B) they can't aim because there are friendlies in the way
C) they are waiting for their weapons to become accurate
How are supposed to activate the mod after installation?
Check the readme for the installation instruction. You may have to use the "Open with..." option to open the RavenShield.mod files with Notepad or another text editor.
