The really really late introduction announcement to Terminus to help keep everyone up to date.

As I promised yesterday I would make the almost too late announcement for our modification, Terminus. The other day TheZealot made an announcement officially stating the current status of our Team and Insolence.
So continuing on, our goal here is to create a campaign based on the older storyline for Half-Life 2, to do this we need your feedback as to what we can do to further improve the modification.


The Team Members with us currently are,

  • Kamza - Level Design, Modeling

The relocation of Terminus from Insolence is taking longer than it should of, because instead of copy and pasting Insolences foundation we went on the course of fixing/replacing the assets. One of the biggest parts being reimporting every leak material by scanning for duplicates, overriding content, and even going as far as to give correct detail textures to them.

The same is happening with the models from the leak, as some of the prior models had small errors in them, such as improperly rotated physics hulls. Now thanks to Cvoxulary we have access to a model decompiler that will allow us to decompile the older models. But to tell the truth 90% of them have awful UV's to start with so the chance of you all seeing them ingame or in our screenshots is unlikely


In other news...
Kazma has reanimated the physics manipulator and rigged, an in-game video of it in action to be posted soon.
