Tactical Warfare is a total conversion mod for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. The mod is being produced by Blue Crystal Studios and created by a skilled mod team. KniveZ: I always loved RTS games, and CnC was the best. However I was always a fan of modern warfare (red alert, the first cnc, etc...) rather than futuristic, which is partly why I'm working on this mod.
narboza22:[/b] I didn't have a PC for most of my life(dad's a Mac person), so Generals was the first CnC game I had. I'm a big fan of that game, but I'm not too hot about the whole Tiberium story line, which is why I started this mod.
Unleashed2k: I love the entire command and conquer series, with generals being my favorite. My favorite singleplayer experience in the C&C series would of been red alert.
DesoBrother: The RTS games are always one of my favorite computer games style and the CnC games even my favorite RTS and the most important reason why, the first strategy game which I played is the Tiberium Dawn

Cncgamingsource: heres an intresting question how do you manage to have several mods at 1 time, because I noticed your working on two at one time and they both look great and I notice you have jobs available still so whats the secret?

Unleashed2k: We are only working on one modification, my company Blue Crystal Studios works on several projects, with C&C 3 having two separate projects. A member of our team departed (he was a mapper) to create there own modification, which I gave him full support. I let him use our very own concept artist to help boost his modification (btw his mod's name is The War)
KniveZ: All I can say is communication and teamwork helped greatly so far. we try to fix disagreements rather than make them worse.

Unleashed2k: Desobrother makes these concepts, hes a great asset to this modification. believe it or not he lives in Hungary.
KniveZ: I made most of the Russian structures (the idea of how they would look), and Desobrother redrew them. But the rest of the concepts are purely by Desobrother. IMO they are great!
DesoBrother: When I joined the team, than was my need everywhere onto a little time while I calm down and myself feel it comfortably (this is my first work in a mod and with foreign people) but after that I start make the concepts, showed the others it and their opinion was related and now they support me.

Cncgamingsource: I’ve noticed your info about units etc is based on real stuff and thats fun pretty original aswell, so tell us why no sci-fi but real stuff? Infact you have chosen for a “total conversion mod”?

Unleashed2k: I love games like Zero Hour, Act of War, the only thing is I wanted to take it up to the next level. I haven't seen a modification or game that is based within 10 years of the future and still tries to stay realistic as possible. Some things may not be totally real, but we use ideas that are in development (like wireless power). Another thing we are adding to our modification is multiple armies. Most games only have between 1 and 3, while our mod strikes for 6, with more planned in expansions and booster packs.
KniveZ: I personally love modern warfare, and I'm working on this mod because CnC3 was too futuristic for me. Modern warfare games can make you feel like you really are fighting a war because they happen everyday. you see Bradley's RPG's and T-72's on TV all the time. Now they are on the computer screen.
narboza22: Like I said earlier, I'm not a big fan the Tiberium story line and its "futuristic" units, so I started a mod with real life units. I think that you can get original game play out of a mod by making it as realistic as possible and incorporating RL tactics.
DesoBrother: I like the modern warfare similarly according to person than the sci-fi but from the sci-fi rather the realistic (like Battletech). I want make an own modern warfare mod for Zero Hour but I finish only a few model and when I saw it that a concept artist is looked for decided that I join.

Unleashed2k: We will finish one faction 80% then move on to the next one, while we are working on the other one we have staff working on the NAU, while others are working on Russia. We may even have a third or fourth faction done for release.
KniveZ: I think it would probably be better to finish one faction at a time. I believe if we all work on one faction we can make it perfect and move on to another one. Russia perhaps.
narboza22: The first release will have two sides, you'll have to wait until later to find out who the second one it.
DesoBrother: Now we concentrate the NAU, the concept are already done and now the modelers work and until the others finalize the Russian Unit and Building list I help in the THE WAR mod.

Cncgamingsource: how long after the mod sk release, which comes with patch 1.07 do you think it will take for the first beta.

Unleashed2k: No Comment, after I learned from many upcoming games, don't give promises you can't keep, but I can tell you we might do an open beta test for the c&c 3 community.

Unleashed2k: Yes to the music, and if your talking about singleplayer videos, We have not decided but we would love to, and thanks for sending us questions.
KniveZ: music most probably ( I have a couple in mind), videos, I'm not so sure yet.
