This patch will allow players with Windows XP/2000 to play System Shock 2 without problems. ***NOTE: You still require the original System Shock 2 CD to play!*** Installation notes: - Patch the game to the latest version found on the Irrational Games homepage, 3DGamers, or any other popular gaming sites. - Backup and replace the existing .exe with the patched file and play the game. Note: Users with Intel Hyperthreading Technology must turn it off to avoid crashes/complications. Also, if you're having problems installing System Shock 2 in Windows 2000: - Open a command prompt. Change the directory to your CD and type "setup -lgntforce " This should allow you to install the game as normal.
