This mod attempts to slightly remaster the game by changing some core gameplay properties as well as adding some more cinematic sequences
A map to test the cover system. Place covertestmap.ctm in your Maps folder. Once in-game, in the console type "open covertestmap". If you are standing on a cover point where you can lean, a hud prompt will appear in bright green text saying "PRESS USE TO LEAN LEFT/RIGHT" KNOWN BUGS: Walking or crouching (Mid-lean) can cause your weapon to continuously fire, to stop it, simply fire your weapon or switch weapons. This is because the leaning animation calls for weapon firing. You can also counteract this by firing on your own accord during the lean. Let me know what you think!
I'm confused. Is there an in-game console for typing commands that I'm not seeing? Or am I supposed to run the game from the Windows command prompt somehow, then type the command?
There is an in-game console. All you need to do is load up any mission and press the Tilde key(~), which is typically found right below the Escape button. If you're on the German version it's Backslash(\)

hello shadowofraven :D I was wondering would it be all possible to script like execution moves just like your squad mates do but on low health enemies if that possible I mean without them having to be scripted events I mean. It would be interesting to see if Boss had different ways to execute different foes. but Other than that I loving the changes though it's kind of a pain when you lean to take cover and my weapon fires out of no where. but I seen your disclaimer so I'm fine with it all.
I am currently working on an execution script that is more random. I think I can make it work similar to scav droids, also yeah I tried to remove the auto fire from the animation but that just breaks the AI leaning so I had to stick with that
O: one more thing I thought of would it be at all possible to change the perspective of the game to a 3rd person one? I really doubt its possible but I seen your demo videos O: and that got me thinking about it
I am unsure about 3rd person being a viable option in the game. Im not sure if I can change the offset so that you can see, and then there is also the problem of where your bullets come from when shooting as well as the hud displaying. Seeing as how the game covers client-side animations. I think 3rd person would be quite a beast. The player has no animations aside from running, walking, and falling, so that would look really bland
