I hope everyone had a great November! A month of giving thanks. You know what I'm thankful for? All of you.
Ok yes that was cheesy. But also true. Now let's get started!
Also I'm going to say in advance, this report will be fairly short. This month finally saw to some much-needed change in my personal life, and as a result my progress was very limited.
FATHER VS. SON
This month was heavily focused on the development of Father vs. Son. Continued working on bug fixes for several cutscenes as well as getting the initial stuff done for Luke's dark side ending. We have a really cool story in the works and I received some voice work from our super amazing Palpatine voice actor to help lay down the foundation!
I spent some time this month drawing up some concepts for Luke's dark side extended ending. I'll post a few images here, I hope you enjoy them!
DISCLAIMER: These screenshots are merely concepts and may or may not be an accurate representation of the final product.
I'll also provide a brief overview of the story, I'll do my best to avoid any spoilers, but if you don't want to know anything, please proceed to the paragraph after this one.
After striking down his father, Luke proceeds to create a new Jedi Academy within the former Rebel base on Yavin IV. Working with a number of the Emperor's servants, Luke vows to train a new generation of Jedi Knights, but training them as merciless enforcers; taught to bring peace to the galaxy, no matter the cost.
We hope to provide more details (and screenshots!) in the next report!
Thank you for following the development of Star Wars: Galactic Legacy, and may the Force be with you.
I was hoping after striking down his father, Luke would become Palpatine's sucessor, stating, "Ben and Yoda were wrong, the dark side is my ally. My Father's destiny is my own." Then the Rebel leaders would be captured and brought onboard the Death Star, and Luke Would execute them before his new master.
Maybe that's another possibility. There are many ways the story can go!
My opinion is that the duel aboard the Deathstar has no impact on the battle of endor.
In my opinion, Luke turning to the dark side would mean the rebels had failed to destroy the shield generator, resulting in the capture of Han, Leia, Chewbacca, Lando, and what's left of R2 and 3po, as well as the total annihilation of the rebel fleet.
I respectfully disagree. The duel had zero impact on the battle of endor. It's a self-contained event to which the outcome determined the future of the Jedi and Sith.
You might forget that in the film the shield generator is destroyed shortly after Luke defeats Vader and rejects the dark side.
What if the rebels had failed, though?
Similarly it wouldn't have had any impact on the duel itself between Luke and Vader. Maybe Palpatine may not have reacted so harshly if Luke rejected the dark side, who knows? It's an interesting thought.
Can you please make a dark side ending for Luke Skywalker where he can kill Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader at the same time.
We have a very good story planned
I have an updated version of the FO Sith Trooper one that you can decapitate and dismember and cut in half please add this model to your next Star Wars Galactic Legacy update.
Mediafire.com
This model is just a reskin of the First Order Stormtrooper which we already feature, I think we did include this skin at some point, but we upgraded.
If dismembering this character means everything to you, then go ahead andinclude it in your mod directory, but we will not be adding this one.
Star Wars is about more than lightsaber dismemberment.
Maybe he finds Lumiya, Desann and X1.
I hadn't thought about X1 truth be told. Maybe he can have a part to play!
