But Battlefront 1 is itself a mod for Battlefield 2 isn´t it? U can look for help there.

Battlefront 1 was based on the battlefeild games but it was made on a completely different engine.

I'm not sure if the Battlefield 2 engine can have something with legs, I think that feature was introduced in BF2142. I could be wrong though.
