Hgrunt_sniper?
is it a male assassin or does human grunts have snipers too now?
Opposing Force has a male sniper grunt. He's part of the "Good Guys".
A small clarification
These models are made on the basis of the Sven Coop models. If we open folder Half-Life\svencoop\models we will see that all Hgrunts have two models - a enemy and friendly: hgrunt.mdl & hgruntf.mdl, barney.mdl & barnabus.mdl, hwgrunt.mdl & hwgruntf.mdl, etc... Good and evil, but there not friendly Hgrunt Sniper only enemy hgrunt_sniper.mdl
I remember some grunts with snipers, in the hldemo maps.
But those were male assassins with hgrunt models using sniper rifles.
Original Opposing Forse doesn't have Hgrunt_snipel model but Sven Coop has this model.
aha! I checked hldemo2.bsp with an bsp editor, and the male assassins are using "models/hgrunt_sniper.mdl"
FYI, hldemo maps is actually Half-Life: Uplink.
