Supreme Mech Commander is the start of a total conversion mod for Supreme Commander FA based on the Battletech universe. The ultimate goal is to have multiple BattleTech factions face each other off in large scale battles. In its current state, the Federated Suns, Clans Snow Raven, and Clan Hells Horses have been implemented, with faction specific factories and units. Combat units are balanced against each other, with the focus of BattleTech units facing like units, but pains have been made to make them compatible with existing unit factions in the vanilla game, for solo AI matches. Values for units are based on the classic table top BattleTech, with nods made towards Mech Commander. Combat is currently focused on intelligence, using sensors and ECM to track and confuse the enemy.
The long-awaited updated 0.7. Three flushed out factions, a ton of units pushing the total to over 120 Battle Tech units, fundamental balance changes, and fixes.

Ground units able to fire on air units
Some AA units with weapon fire toggle can be set to AA only or AA/ground target fire mode
Air unit maneuverability and speed adjusted to allow for better ground striking capabilities
Aero unit speed and maneuverability adjustment fall within a converted thrust table. This result with light units having better handling while heavier units lower.
Snow Ravan Mechs and Battle Armor, which have claws or hands, maintain engineering package to perform battlefield salvage operations.

Jump jets enabled on most jump jet capable mechs. Used with the teleport command. Jump distance was converted from hex to meter range.
Updated text pop up to include Radar, BAP, ECM, and weapon ranges in meters for all units.

I've waited a long, long time for this. Got derailed... but please finish this, this game was created to have a Battletech mod made for it!

As of right now no. The mod is pretty huge when it comes to the number of custom units with 3 different faction flavors to play with. The BattleTech universe is huge, so no worries. If you have any questions ask away.

Wait how you play this mod, as first I get the dropship but don't know anything to do next
When you get the dropship, go to upgrades, and select the faction you want to play with as an upgrade.
my dropship explodes on spawn for some reason
Make sure you select annihilation as the game mode when setting up the game.
