Tired to harvest 300 asteroid for 2/3 ships here's a patch to upgrade the ressource value of x10 for each asteroid. To install put the file in homeworld2/data

can this work with the complex mod?
I've put it into the data folder, but it makes no difference to the resources, what am I doing wrong?

Right click your homeworld 2 shortcut.
Where it say TARGET you will see the installation path of your game.
Mine is "C:\Program Files \Sierra \Homeworld2 \Bin \Release \Homeworld2.exe"
Yours may be different. Go to the end. Press the space bar once and type -overrideBigFile (Exactly as it is here)
Click Apply.
Now go to your "Data" folder and copy the "Resource" folder you downloaded into it.
When you start your game, the changes in the "Resource" folder will supersede the original information in homeworld2.big in your Original Data folder.
DO NOT THINK THAT THIS WILL WORK WITH EVERY HOMEWORLD 2 GAME AND MOD B.E.C.A.U.S.E it won't. If this is a game of Poker, and you just ditched 3 cards of your crappy hand, in the hope that these changes get you 3 better cards, that lead to a "Royal Flush", think again! What is important is the "Mechanic" not the POSSIBLE beneficial result!
What it may do, hopefully, is set you on a path of modding Homeworld 2. And garnish you with knowledge and fun and knowledge gained from fun. And it's free!!!!
