== Battlefield 1942 Version == A Battlefield 1942 mod loosly based on the Stargate movies and TV series. Stargate: Battle for Mankind (full name) takes place in the near future, where the existence of the Stargate is known worldwide and the world is at war against the Goa'uld. The Goa'uld have made several attacks against Earth and the Tau'ri (humans) have made several off-world bases to battle against the Goa'uld (with some of these under attack). New weapons and vehicles have been developed to combat the new threat, along with standard, battle-proven weapons. It's an ever-evolving battle, with nowhere in the universe out of bounds in this intergalactic war. == Battlefield 2 Version == The Stargate BFM strays away from the mainstream Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis to an alternate reality, where there are several key differences including that which the Goa'uld were not entirely defeated and the Altantis Expedition has declared all out war on the Wraith....

The interesting thing about the Tel'tak was working out how to make it fly like it does in the show, able to travel fast but stop almost instantly, and hover. To do this in the game, the Tel'tak will fly like a Helicopter, however if you hold the primary fire button, the Tel'tak will rocket forward and travel at a much faster speed. If the primary fire button is then released, the Tel'tak will stop traveling forward almost instantly yet continue to hover, imitiating the Tel'tak from the show.

As always stay tuned for more updates from Stargate BFM
