Have you considered collaborating with the Republic Assault team to get the models you require? You both seem to be making similar modifications and I imagine if you worked together you could definitely make to very high quality and certainly distinct and unique mods.

Great job so far!

But you should credit LucasArts for the "501st plex soldier" and 501st "E-Web soldier" too.
They are the makers of these models and skins. Just search for swbf2 on Internet and you will see those players models!;)
