OK All you need to do is follow these steps (srry 4 spelling errors)step 1:download the modstep 2:extract the download to your desktop or somewhere it will not be loststep 3:hit the start button by the bottom left hand side of your computerStep:4:click on "computer" if you cannot find that type in the search bar "steamapps"(whitout quotesstep 5:(ONLY DO THIS STEP IF YOU NEVER USED THE SEARCH BAR. ANYBODY WHO DID USE THE SEARCH BAR GO TO 7)after opening up "computer" click on whatever you use for storage. I use--Hard Disk Drives OS (C:) ---click on it and go to "program files" (or whatever your Steam is stored under) and find Steam then click on "Steamapps"
Step 7:after clicking on steamapps there should be a folder that says 'common"(that is your star wars empire at war) click on "common and then click on "star wars empire at war" if you want to mod this game and not Forces of corruption make a new folder called "Mods" and then move or extract your Mod you have download into this folder
Step 8: To mod Forces of Corruption click on "corruption" folder and then do the same thing make a "Mods" folder then extract or move the mod into that folder
Step 9: I'm a nice guy so instead of making you try to find the MODPATH I'll put it up for you copy this
or for Empire at War its
or if that dont work open the folder of the mod and look for a file thats a "shortcut" and if you find it right click on it and go to "properties" and open it. It should say "MOD NAME Properties" then under it it will say "target location" ignore that and go under that and it will say "target" and then swfoc.exe" MODPATH=Mods\NAME_OF_MOD_HERE
step 10: when done all of the above open up steam and right click on "Star wars Empire at War Gold" and go down to "Properties" and click on "set launch options" paste the MODPATH example of a mod I play by z3r0x:
then click "okay" and then close the other behind it and then your good to go just fire up the game
and start playin the mod
Special thanks to z3r0x's republic at war mod
