I am curious to see what the Enterprise era Dominion ships will look like.
I mean the Dominion has existed for over a millennia so perhaps they have used the same ship designs for centuries.

Hoe are you guys going to simulate cloaking in the game? I realise that's probably a big ask, but I can't imagine the Romulans without it.

By the way, excellent work, and I can't wait to play this. I tried a certain other Stellaris mod, and while I realise it's unfinished, I think your effort is going to be better in the long run.

Cheers.

Unfortunately cloaking will likely not happen without Paradox changing the game. Since ships have no abilities its kinda hard to simulate it

Could you give the Romulans and Klingons a tech which simulates it somehow? Maybe an evasion boost?

Or, you could have an event chain which leads to a total ban on cloaking devices. The canon discusses different treaties where certain techs were banned, why not go a little bit off canon and include cloaks in that?

Another suggestion I was thinking about was slowing down the warp travel time. Stellaris doesn't work well late game on very large maps, and I did a test yesterday which showed a ship in the stock game can cross an 800 star galaxy in a couple of years of game time. The different factions could start off as turtles and slowly work towards getting trans-warp and slipstream tech.

what about a feature that you toggle for one of your fleet so that the enemy ships cant detect them. so you can travel around the map without anyone being able to shoot down your ships. until the cloac run out of course

That quote in the title.. Is from Birth of the Federation right?

Sela also said it in a novel I think, because for some reason when I read it I hear it in her voice.

Memory-Beta does say it was used in a Typhon Pact novel.

Thought I'd pop a few in-game screenshots of some of the Romulan vessels in-game for you as a thank you for all your votes! Remember, misdirection is the key to survival, never attack what your enemy defends, never behave as your enemy expects, and never let a rival use your assets against you.
