Capitalism, ho! This mod will make you struggle for every bullet, bandage, and medkit you need! Because everything is still expensive, but nobody wants to pay you more than what your rusty crap is worth! And it isn't worth all that much! The major Emissions a few months earlier resulted in vast numbers of artifacts compared to their scarcity in the days beforehand, which also resulted in the traders (who are the only way to sell them to the outside world) offering considerably lower prices for them! Meanwhile, the Faction Wars resulted in quite a few corpses and quite a lot of surplus weapons, armor, and unused (or they may have prevented said corpsification) medkits and bandages, not to mention uneaten tinned food and eternal sausage-fiesta.
Basically, nobody is going to be all that excited when you try to sell them your stuff, and with new stalkers flooding into The Zone every day, warm bodies to carry out missions are cheap to hire, resulting in lower mission compensation, too (but with those items being as cheap as they are, the items you get from said missions remains the same).
