Risk of Rain 2 Splitscreen Mod by BinaryLizard
DISCLAIMER: USE AT OWN RISK still in progress
To Install:
Step 1: Unzip "BLSplitscreen_RoR2" and enter the file.
Step 2: Now Copy the file labeled "Assembly-CSharp - Modded.dll"
Step 3: Find Risk of Rain 2 local files by right clicking Risk of Rain 2 in steam, then properties, click over to local files,
and press the button labeled "BROWSE LOCAL FILES...". You should now be in a file explorer window with a "Risk of Rain 2_Data" folder.
Step 4: Click "Risk of Rain 2_Data" folder, then into "Managed".
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOW COPYING "Assembly-CSharp.dll" and pasting in the same location as "Assembly-CSharp - Copy.dll" at this time
to back up the vanilla file as a fail safe.
Step 5: Once this has been done paste the "Assembly-CSharp - Modded.dll" file and rename it "Assembly-CSharp.dll".
Now this is done the mod is in place and can be used.
To Use:
Step 1: Open Risk of Rain 2
Step 2: After you select your profile, you will be brought to the menu screen, and now open up the console window by pressing ctrl+alt+`
Step 3: Now type "user_profile_main" in the console. It will now display something as "user_profile_main = *numbers*' (This is your profile number)
Step 4: Now type in the console "blsplitscreen (The amount of players you want, 2-4) (The numbers that indicated your profile number)
For Example: blsplitscreen 3 e3dac1a9-2ebb-46d4-823c-2f8a8e359aff <- The profile number cannot be misspelled
Now the amount of cursors pop up that you chose and you have to use a controller. Just press esc to close the console.
IF THIS HASNET WORKED AS IN AN ERROR POPPED UP YOU WILL HAVE TO CLOSE THE GAME AND OPEN IT BACK UP AND TRY AGAIN

Will you fix the problem with two joysticks? Me and my friends are playing locally by remote playing. And only one of us can choose the survivor, one of us can play and the other one is stuck.
Before the update it worked smoothly! Please keep it up!
Which mod for split-screen is better? This one ('Splitscreen Mod by BinaryLizard') from Moddb or 'FixedSplitscreen' from Thunderstore - Thunderstore.io
Both gave problems to me and my friends. I think it is something with the new update. I hope BinaryLizard will fix this asap.

I just have a question, is it possible to choose a character other than the base one for player 2 ? If so I didn't find the way to do it, if you could explain a way :)
