This mod aims to recreate the famous Valve game Couter-Strike:Source in Smod Redux. The main goal is to bring the weapons, npcs and maps to Smod. The idea came from clsmod for smod. This mod requries CSS, HL2, HL2DM, Source SDK base, as well as Smod Redux version 8 and addon pack.

Hello again! After about a month of silence, I'm welcome You with the announcement of new version! For the beggining, You need to notice two thinks: There's NO support for redux 6.1 anymore. It just doesn't have sense, version 8 was downloaded about 600 times, while 6.1 only 100. Next important think, is that there is no reason to keep mod on "beta" status, because new version will fix most of the annoying bugs. And now we can smoothly go to the changelog:

-Fixed w_models (Thanks Garry's team!!!),

-Enemies don't have normal hl2 weapons, ONLY css weapons are available for them,

-Scripts like smodaclist, overrideclass, npc_weapon_randomize, etc. are made from scratch. What that mean for normal player? Two thinks: All smod and hl2 weapons are complitly excluded, You can not spawn weapons like OICW, banana bomb, shovel, grease gun, etc. Second think, is that you can now, for example type in console "give weapon_mac10" and you will get mac10,

-Bigger css npcs randomize (gign, sas, urban, etc.) [Not yet done],

-Autoexec is not optional anymore, from now optional are really optional (L4D blood and L4D flashlight texture),

-Added smod_playcoopmap 1 to autoexec, so, now when You die, You will respawn, insted of load quicksave, which was taking HOURS [deleted, because it was creating bugs],

-Turned off fake hdr, I've notice that it have a big impact on performance (if You want it back, remove 10 last lines from autoexec)

-Css maps have mappads (for example type in console "map cs_office" and you will have a singleplayer mission, like "kill all combine" etc.) [Not yet done],

-Frag fix, as well as "215 hotfix" is included, You just need to simply unpack mod into smod redux folder (but don't forget addon pack) and You can play,

-Now it's MUCH harder expierience, enemies have better weapon skill,

-Changed Smod Redux background to css one,

-Tweaked some weapons scripts,

-Added Smod:T flesh wounds and leg model,

Since autoexec is not optional, I need to warn You that there are many gameplay tweaks, if You don't like them, just use interactive smod menu. Don't expect new version to soon, I still have a lot of thinks to do. Also, remember that I'm working alone.
