I really enjoyed playing the Battle For Middle Earth Series many moons ago so recently i re-installed them and found that the camera is way to close for my liking, i have found 2 great mods that makes BFME 2 and its expansion proper widescreen and sorts the camera out but there isn't one for the first game, so I did a bit of tinkering and made this mod.

I really enjoyed playing the Battle For Middle Earth Series many moons ago so recently i re-installed them and found that the camera is way to close for my liking, i have found 2 great mods that makes BFME 2 and its expansion proper widescreen and sorts the camera out but there isnt one for the first game, so i did a bit of tinkering and made this mod.

This mod pushes the camera way back so it looks great on a widescreen monitor.

All Singleplayer, Multiplayer and skirmish maps done.

This mod is a WIP so any constructive critism is welcome.

All you have to do is Unrar the file with Winrar and drop in to your (windows 7) -C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\The Battle for Middle-earth (tm)

And dont forget to set your custom resolution - -

Native widescreen resolutions are not supported. To use custom resolutions go to...

C:\Users\Mr Sloaks\AppData\Roaming\My Battle for Middle-earth Files\Options.ini

...and find...

Resolution = **** ****

...change **** to your desired resolution. You may need to enable hidden files and folders as viewable. This can be done from the "Folder Options" in the "Tools" menu by clicking on the "View" tab.

Thats all, have fun and lets go hunt some Ork (again) :-)
