Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. One of the main center areas of the Doctor Who part of SkyFi. I was considering earlier which era of TARDIS to use, the older ones? or one of the more recent ones? I couldn't decide since both have advantages and disadvantages, so I am putting it down to you lot to decide. Which ever console room you prefer will pretty much set the design for the entire TARDIS. There will be many rooms, probably more interiors than the whole of Whiterun to be honest, and all will be themed by one of the three choices. The old series ones which will now be referred to as the Tom Baker TARDIS, as he was my favorite of the old series, as the basic futuristic clean option. The second option of course being the David Tennant TARDIS, with the more organic and darker theme to it, meaning more opportunity for creative thinking for me. And third the Matt Smith TARDIS, which has a much more...exotic styling to it, if you don't know what these all look like then I suggest following the like here to see.

Whatever the choice will simply be the first design, I will come back and do the other two as optional alternatives later, all three will have the same basic shape and will simply be swapped for the model and texture so that way i can do minimal work on the actual shape of the interiors and not have to worry about difficulties later. The TARDIS will be worked into the core of the mod so that it can travel to the new locations as well as around Skyrim, this will also include a key to call it to your location and possibly the option to 'mark' a few locations as a mark & recall function.

The DW section will of course have its own storyline and enemies and such like the others but this will be a platform to build that from. This section of the mod won't be added to the core files till after the 2.0 release is done, that way I wont be delaying the release by doing things for the DW section.

Anyway, the choice is yours, choose from either:
A - Tom Baker TARDIS
B - David Tennant TARDIS
C - Matt Smith TARDIS

To let me know your choice make sure to comment in the comments for this article not the main page, that way I can easily count them and have the decision.

Matt Smith. You can always meet older era tardises by walking around through the corridors as shown during the most recent series, or if you have a parallel universe going on.

Hmm... Tough, but I'd say Tom Baker's! Or, if you're willing to budge, Peter Davison's! I love the newer TARDIS's, but how often do you see one of these mods with a classic console room?

@Mudo146 Well the Baker one is pretty much the same lol, I am also doing an option D now, which is a custom one taking from all of A, B and C. I will upload pictures of this ones WIP shots in a bit.

Im for A actually i like the feel of the older tardis, to me it has more of a old school sifi fell. Its less clutter and has a clean minimalist feel to it. Also you could add some level of customization to A because of the original design, but thats you to you!

I like B and C, but B will always have a special place in my heart :P

If you could combine the organic arms of B with the glass floor of C that would be really good, I think :)

hmmm i would say matt smith because that is the one that is on tv now and we have already seen some of it's corridors

Going on that logic then A would be best as there were several rooms and corridors were seen on the old series lol

2 A's, 2 B's 3 C's, looks like I would be best doing a mix of all 3 after all, I mean C is winning but its pretty even voting so far.

The mix would be A as a base, using walls, floors and such in the style of A, then the dome as in screens uploaded recently from B along with the organic shaped struts textured to fit the style of A, then C central console, floor and also corridors for the maintenance areas. I will do my best to see if I can have it so you can 'swap' which console room you have when I get round to modelling them all, the best way I can think of to do this would be to have the four console rooms separate in different areas of the TARDIS, and when you choose a console room (D being default) then it simply moves where the door is which leads in and out of the TARDIS.

Alrighty, looks like D is the winner since there is a draw between B and C, I will do as planned and have all 4 but D will be the default and will be the only one added when I finish the first version of the Doctor Who module.

Don't do spaces I just added them so I could post the link (new member). That link has pics of the interiors just in case you need them and also c because not only does it have stuff from the old TARDIS's, but more of the rooms have been shown than of the other two's. Especially if you played the adventure game where your inside the TARDIS. The best reason to add it though is because its cool.
