Lots of different things happening at the moment, I am sad to say that there will be no new screens yet as there seems to be a problem with the retextured landscape objects like cliffs and such.

Lots of different things happening at the moment, I am sad to say that there will be no new screens yet as there seems to be a problem with the retextured landscape objects like cliffs and such. These re-textures and most of the work I have been doing is on the second world, not the first, since I am creating these worlds with no link to each other in the ways of story or anything then it doesn't really matter what order they are in. 

The second world is the desert based one, which is why I have been doing retextures of cliffs and mountains, to make them look more like sand coloured stone than the dark stone under snow in Skyrim. Most of the new models for tile sets are at least basically textured so that has sped up progress of the actual world building, some collision problems here and there but I can fix that without having to place them again so not a big deal. The Stargate scripts are being incredibly annoying as I have to start a new game to test them properly every time and I am sure you all know how annoying that is. Even simply adding a new gate to the network seems to totally blow the code apart unless a clean save or new game is used so that part is taking time to perfect.

Another problem of course is that LOD mesh generating currently has very bad effects when using the CK tool (in fact it corrupts everything if it is even tried) so I am learning to use a third party tool (surprised Bethesda even bothered releasing a CK and didn't just leave it to someone else to do since they do that with every other part of modding).

Another bit of news is that the homes mod will now be the TARDIS mod, it will have a questline, companions and  other things but to begin with it will be a home which can move around the world, hoping to have around a dozen locations in each hold of Skyrim and it will be an addon to the other modules of SkyFi so will require them so you can travel to locations there too. Will get that finished just after the beta is out.

A slightly less relevant bit of news is the SOT mod has been totally restarted and since I have gotten in contact with Terry Goodkind and asked for permission and such to make the mod then I will be doing that full time after I finish the Stargate section of SkyFi, plans are to have the whole of the Old and New world as 'bubble' areas as actual distances in the books are a little sketchy at best and makes it easier on me. It will also be based during the Great War so you can expect hundreds if not thousands of Wizards fighting in the war with plenty of powerful artifacts and stuff. I have no idea about what happens in later books as I have only reached halfway through Temple of the Winds, so probably best not commenting about anything past that book. I read at a decent speed so shouldn't take me long to reach the latest book.

And finally I am looking for help with planet names (generators suck), so I need names for a forest world, desert world, water world with ancient outpost and a few extra names couldn't hurt so feel free to suggest some in the comments!

I like the desert one, forest one sounds like its an ingredient for some witches potion :P I prefer Aurelia for the water one although I may use Udronex for another world...Definately using Woadenroot for a new ingredient haha
