So, update, I seem to have gotten this function for 2.8.1.1 so yay for that. Also been formally added to the new Middle Earth Project team so this will be seeing updates from any new things there.

Functional Alpha of Goshen Sagas mod. Based on the World and current Stories of Goshen, by Dillon Sapp and Cody Collins.
If you have any artwork experience, specifically flag and Coats of Arms, and would be interested in doing some of artwork for the mod, I'd really appreciate it if you'd contact me.
I've added my own traits system in, though haven't been able to block vanilla's trait because it causes the game to crash. With it, I added some battle flavor, people can now be injured/killed in battle. Illness/Injury are 5 levels of progressive/regressive traits, that means an annoying cough/broken finger can get better or it can grow out of control and even kill you.
Several Employment decisions to fill courts and the 9 swords of the Gawei to pass down the family lines of the Will of the Elder.
Replaced all the trait icons with concepts, they aren't pretty but atleast they are different. Education, Sword, and Religion icons have been replaced with Attiris' designs.
Loc'd all the titles and set the unique buildings so they should be built now. All counties now have atleast a castle, city, and temple holding.
All religions now have holy sites and religious heads. Cultures and Religions have been re-distributed into groups; Humans, Non-Humans, Raiders, and Isolationist( these being Hunute and Hesen, as isolationists, don't get along with others so are in their own groups).
Added illnesses, a medicus(Both of these additions sadly use CK2 icons, hope to change that ASAP), and educations. Added specific illnesses and congenital traits, and special traits for Huargen, Yava, and Kalan cultures.
Added a duel system to fight opposing officers. With this there's personal guards, with the Goshen Kings having a guard corps. Personal guards can be sent to fight duels for you.
Days of Strife bookmark has been expanded to include the scenario for Soule and Rhun.

Thank you :D I'm working on everything, I suck are graphics(as you can see) and don't have anyone who's good and willing to do the work. As soon as I have replacements for things, I'll start changing them out.

Mod looks really promising.In my opinon it may become one of the best total conversions for ck2. Will you use the traits from vanilla? Most of them suits to every world and every people. I also think that all of this disase events are too random and frequent, but still your mod look reeeeaaallly good!
Thanks, I'm glad to hear that(though, in my mind, that's an incredibly optimistic assessment of my abilities :) ). There'll be overlap since vanilla has many logical things like the illnesses, but my personality system is staying in place, it's one of the things I wanted to do the most. Outside that I want to use as little of vanilla as possible. I plan to improve on the illness/injury with actual illnesses and a medicus position so that you can hire someone to treat you and the type of illness will affect likelihood of getting better or worse, but right now I'm working to get more canonical characters in place everywhere.
Nice to hear that we will have in this mod Reaper's Due without buying it :D. There is much work to fill the world of Goshen, but you know this yourself. I thnik after two-three bigger update it will have as wide optons as vanilla whithout DLCs. Here are few things I think you should add first (in my opinon of course) to made mod more playable:
-Bigger dynasties ( it's main issue with disease now-vassals dying to fast leaving you with half-country demense)
-Less culture groups
-More specified religions
-and some more casus belis (I think invasion or Great Holy War for Gawei)

With that, Paradox called assassins and lawyers and the Goshen Sagas mod was never seen nor heard of again. I don't have that dlc so don't know how it works exactly, but I've thought about mechanics I want for a long time, so like I said there's going to be overlap since there's lot's of logical stuff in ck2.
Was planning to work on flavor stuff like duels, but that feels a better place to work, will start in that next.
New version has lot's of that stuff, tried to write a new CB but failed and noone's been able to offer advice on fixing it.
I can't wait to see what's done with this mod, it's unique and interesting enough to draw me in.
The lore in particular, while not very expansive at this point (at least not publicly) has intrigued me to the point I really want to know what's going on in this world.

Hi, didn't think anyone actually used this :) Sorry for the late response, doesn't inform me of non replies.
All moderate+ diseases have about the same chance of appearing, but if courtiers/sexual partners have it you are much more likely to get it. So either you have a court of lepers or are just rolling leper alot. :)
And all 3 of our ebooks are free through smashwords until the 1st if you want to pick up copies.
