A new version of Sigma that seeks to eliminate some bugs from the previous version as well as showcase the new Mod Manager of Fleet Operations and introduce the long awaited Mixed Tech for all the races.
Thank you for downloading Sigma 2.1. In this version a few new exciting things are introduced, and quite a few bugs from the first release are now gone.
What's needed to install?
- Fleet Operations version 3.2.5 is needed for this to run
Where do I install this?
- Copy the data folder and put it in the Fleet Operations "mods" folder. If a mods folder does not exist, create a folder called "mods" in the Fleet Operations > Data directory.
- To run the game, either double click on the shortcut in the data folder, or go to Options > Mod Manager > Sigma 2.1 from the Fleet Operations menu.
What's new in this version
General:
- Mixed tech has been introduced to all the races
- 1 new wilflife creature: the Trillbolis
- 2 new maps: Famine and Relic
Zevestivan:
New music track added to playlist: Vairuhn's Theme
V.R.A.
- New music track added to playlist: Valash's Theme
Sov:
- New music track added to playlist: The Overseer's Theme, Broker's Theme
Mylocks:
- New Mylock Plasma Generator ability: Plasma Field
- New music track added to playlist: Ventus' Theme
Ekoset:
- New music track added to playlist: the President's Theme
Bug fixes:
- The game should no longer crash when exiting after playing a match.
- Ventus' special ability no longer crashes the game after finishing a match.
- Minor spelling and tooltip errors
Known Bugs:
- The Plasma Field ability may cause huge lag spikes on certain systems.
- Units placed in the Map Editor will always start the game with Ekoset Shield Generators, even though they don't have shields.
