After recently completing work on cavalry and infantry units of House Frey (the Riverlands), here's a quick update on current progress of Seven Kingdoms: Total War and the status of the most recent build.
NEW CONTENT
The latest addition to Seven Kingdoms, House Frey (see teaser screenshot above) is a noble house of the Riverlands seated at the Twins, a pair of castles on each bank of the northern Green Fork of the Trident that serves as a vital bridge across the river. The lord of the house is called the Lord of the Crossing.
The strategic location of the Twins has allowed the house to become quite wealthy. Under their current lord, Walder Frey, they have grown greatly in both size and power. One of the most powerful bannermen of the Tullys, the Freys can field a thousand knights and three thousand infantry.
House Frey foot soldiers, despite the wealth of their overlords, are meagerly protected by leather tunics, gambeson bibs, and kite shields emblazoned with the Frey sigil as depicted in the TV show. Heavy units wear small cup helmets, while archers and light infantry prefer basic leather caps.
PLANS AND DEVELOPMENT
Having completed House Frey, my attention will now be focused on House Blackwood of the Riverlands and House Umber of the North before venturing into uncharted territory - the wealthy, powerful Houses of the Vale and the Stormlands. Additionally, I have major upcoming announcements on the expansion of Seven Kingdoms into the Free Cities and beyond. Skoros morghot vestri?
