Seven Golden Cities takes place in the world I've imagined to be Calradia a few decades after the events of Warband. Far from Calradia, the mod takes place in a new continent: Olinka. This continent is divided into four factions: North, South, West and East Olinka. Each with a very different culture and fighting styles and tactics. There will also be four of the Calradian factions invading Olinka as colonists. The Swadians, Vaegirs, Rhodoks and Nords. Join either of these eight factions (and more) in Seven Golden Cities, the mod about what happened after Warband and colonization.

I'd like to let you decide about this aspect of the lore/world.

I was wondering whether to include the concept of photographs in the world or keep it at portraits. Before anyone says photography is too advanced, the Greeks could have made it (and to be fair they did invent the camera obscura). Please tell me what you think in the comments!

Here is what a Swadian knight might look like taken by a camera. What do you think?

And if you ARE in favour of it, would you rather it be very primitive (on a metal slab, like Daguerrotypes or Tintypes) or more advanced? (As pictured above)

Please tell me what you think in the comments!

Yeah, in retrospect we'll stick to paintings. It really didn't feel right!
